1. Leadership Initiatives Mentorship Program
Scholarship recipients will work directly with Leadership Initiatives Internship Mentorship Team. Leadership Initiatives partners scholarship recipients with US-based mentors from the Leadership Initiatives community of supporters. Potential mentors include some the United States top business executives, legal specialists, professors from Harvard and Georgetown universities, Nasa Scientists, Federal Law Enforcement Officers, Members of The State Department, Medical Doctors from DC-based hospitals and the National Institute of Health, World Bank and Top Embassy Officials. Over the course of 12 months, these mentors work with students to help navigate the way to their future colleges and careers by conducting mentorship calls. Each scholarship recipient is entitled to six separate mentorship calls and can be from one mentor or multiple mentors from varied fields. Students can elect to speak to up to four different experts in one field of interest.
